AJS Conference Guest Policy

The AJS has formalized our guest policy to ensure the safety and security of all attendees.

Guests are defined as conference attendee's family/spouse/partner/friend who are traveling with the attendee, but is not a Jewish Studies scholar or person who would otherwise join the AJS as a member.

Any guest eighteen years or older who wishes to attend any session or the exhibit hall must purchase the appropriate badge below for entry. Any guest 5-18 years old must wear a children’s badge, free of charge (not required for children under the age of five).

All badges will be available at the “New Registrations” area of the registration desk (Independence Foyer).

Exhibit Hall Pass Only: This pass allows the guest to enter the AJS Conference Exhibit Hall, during the open hours of the hall over the course of the conference, for $20. This badge does not allow the guest access to any conference session or reception.

One-Day Pass: This pass allows the guest to attend any sessions, reception, and the Exhibit Hall for one of the three days of the conference, for $100. The guest must know which day of the conference they are attending when purchasing the badge.

Non-Member Pass: If a guest decides to attend sessions for multiple days, guests should expect to register for a full non-member conference pass, for $375.
