Call for Applications: Intensive Workshop on Reading Handwritten Yiddish

Applications are now open for the Intensive Workshop on Reading Handwritten Yiddish, which will be held September 6-7 at the University of Chicago.

The workshop is open to Yiddish researchers at all levels with at least basic knowledge of Yiddish. This event is free to registered participants, including meals.

The workshop is cosponsored by The Greenberg Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Chicago, the University of Chicago Language Center, The Germanic Studies Department of the University of Chicago, The Center for East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies at the University of Chicago, The Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, The Crown Family Center for Jewish and Israel Studies at Northwestern University, and the Jewish Studies Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago and In geveb: A Journal of Yiddish Studies.
