[Symposium] Heroines of the Holocaust: New Frameworks of Resistance

Wagner College Holocaust Center
June 2-3 2021
With the participation of leading Holocaust scholars from ten different nations including the US, Europe, Israel and the UK, our program features roundtables, panels, film screenings, educational workshops, as well as several artistic events. We aim to create a new narrative around female agency in the Shoah and other genocides, to inspire transformative activism today. Our symposium is sponsored by the USC Shoah Foundation; the Holocaust, Genocide and Interfaith Center of Manhattan College; and Remember the Women Institute. Participating institutions include the Museum of Jewish Heritage, Echoes and Reflections, and the Ghetto Fighters House Museum.
We ask that you kindly share with your members and faculty our symposium website, including information on the program, logistics and ways to register: Please find attached a flyer for the symposium, which can also be forwarded to your members.
Please feel free to email us for information on becoming a sponsor of the symposium.
We look forward to welcoming you at the symposium this June.
