Get ready for this year's conference by learning how to create a compelling story about your dissertation or summarize your thesis in three minutes or less. Participants who create 3MT videos about their thesis will have the opportunity to have their work featured on the AJS website. Ideal registrant: graduate students who started writing their thesis or recent graduates who are on the market. Limit 35 people.

In addition to presenting research, the AJS Conference is a great place to pitch your book to potential publishers and update your peers about your latest project. In this online workshop we will talk about the key elements of a book pitch, how to reach out to editors, and practice pitching your project with workshop participants. Ideal registrant: anyone with a book project in the works. Limit 25 people.
