All meals are kosher under the supervision of Vaad HaRabanim of Greater Washington/Capital K.

Meals are optional to purchase. There are lower-cost meal options outside the hotel. Kosher options near the hotel include Char and Shouk. For more nearby options for meals and groceries, see Visiting Washington, D.C.

Below are the anticipated menus, but specific items may be substituted pending supply or other circumstances. Kosher vegetarian meals are automatically ordered for all those who indicate "vegetarian" during the online registration process. If you plan to purchase any meals and have specific food allergies or other special meal concerns, please contact conference@associationforjewishstudies.org.

Daily Breakfast Buffet (all 3 days)

   • Herb-crusted breast of chicken with chef's choice of starch and seasonal vegetable

   • Assorted rolls and flat bread with margarine, large challah

   • Lemon meringue tart with strawberry sauce

   • Freshly brewed coffee, tea, decaffeinated coffee

Monday Lunch

   • Salmon wrap

   • Cucumber slivers, lettuce, and tomato

   • Pasta salad garnished with pickle spear

   • Assorted rolls and flat bread with margarine, large challah

   • Chocolate dome with caramel sauce

   • Freshly brewed coffee, tea, decaffeinated coffee

Tuesday Lunch

   • Mixed greens with sliced tomatoes, cucumber, roasted garlic croutons, and white balsamic vinaigrette

   • Pan-roasted chicken with natural sage jus

   • Fingerling potato, mushroom, and butternut squash hash

   • Assorted rolls and flat bread with margarine, large challah

   • Fresh mixed berries in amaretto and natural juices with whipped topping

Sunday Dinner

   • French-served spinach salad with grilled apples, spicy pecans, and mustard seed vinaigrette
